I’m staying in Ratece near Kranjska Gora between the 2nd Aug and 9th Aug and would like to find a local climbing partner for a half day or two while I’m here. (Wife won’t climb with me nowadays)!!
I would prefer bolted routes at a local crag up to 6a or 6b. May be given leave to do a day’s Alpine route?
If you would be prepared to show me some local hot spots and the delight of Slovenian climbing please contact me on email@example.com or +44 7900 933 339.
Hi Andy, there is no problem, I can guide you. I have already send you an email with detailed information.
Hi, sorry I haven’t got back to you earlier, not ssen the email for some reason. Been biking + hiking but would enjoy an evening crag nearby. Daytime is too hot I suspect.

Hope to make it to Dovje Thursday evening if anyone is free.
Dovje looks good. I recommend you to use an helmet. I would also suggest you to visit Vrsic. Today I am occupied, sorry.
Helmet as always as I have a record of coming off!
Will be stopping a 3 more days so anything doing locally this weekend?
Will only check out Dovje now as too hot to climb I guess
Okay, so didn’t make it on this occasion. Maybe next time.

I’m organizing a two days climbing trip for my boss for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (15. and 16.10). She needs an instructor and I still haven’t found one. Does someone here can recommend some good instructor, please?
Thanks in advance for your help.
what kind of instructor are you looking for. I know that you are looking for climbing instructor but does your boss want to go climb the mountains (trad climbing) or sport climbing (routes not higher then 35m)?
Thank you for your answer.
She is interested in sport climbing, but I’m not sure about her experience level. She’s pretty good at it and active, but she’s still a beginner.
Hi, I’m flying over to Slovenia for about 10 days at the start of August. I am the only person who climbs in our group, but would hate to be so close to some amazing climbing and not be able to get a day or two’s climbing in.
I’m going to be staying in Ljubljana but will probably be hiring a car so will be able to travel. Public transport would be even better but I’m guessing this isn’t a good option.
I on-site up to 6b+/6c but don’t mind working on harder stuff or just getting in lots of easier stuff.
Let me know if anyone fancies hooking up.
